Food Innovation New Zealand (FINZ) is a joint venture between New Zealand’s leading food research and development organisations: Massey University, AgResearch, Fonterra, Plant & Food Research and the Riddet Institute. New Zealands’s food science industry has earned a global reputation for excellence. FINZ has been formed to provide easier access to these world class solutions for food production companies in NZ and beyond. Visit Fonterra Research Centre, global research centre and the world’s largest registered dairy pilot plant

Visit New Zealand’s recently opened global Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre, a broad science partnership to tackle New Zealand's agricultural greenhouse gases.

Presentations from world leading food and dairy scientists from:

– Fonterra Research Centre
– Plant and Food Research
– Massey University Institute of Food Nutrition and Human Health

Finish the day with a tour at the Microbrewery of the Institute of Food, Nutrition and Human Health, Massey University and taste some of the new brews.

Tour Details
Spend the day on FINZ science campus with a selection of New Zealand’s world leading food and dairy scientists who will present insights into some of the latest developments, including life cycle analysis of food and agricultural greenhouse gas research. This tour also includes visits to world leading facilities: The Fonterra Research Centre and the dairy research pilot plant, the Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre and the Massey University Microbrewery. .

WDS2010 Delegates attending this tour will be hosted by FINZ for the day. Meeting rooms are available for delegates who request private meetings with food scientists / research managers. Lunch, morning and afternoon teas are provided. This visit also includes a beer tasting at Massey Universities Microbrewery.
