Sustainability Efforts
In the lead-up to the IDF World Dairy Summit 2010 in Auckland, a team will be investigating ways to reduce the environmental impact of holding this Summit. We will be working with all of our partners and venues to measure the environmental impact of holding the Summit and provide options to reduce this impact where possible.
Some of the areas being reviewed include transport options, accommodation in Auckland, meals and facilities at the Summit and technical and social tours. This work is being done in conjunction with a Masters student (Andrea Gibson) from Massey University’s Centre for Energy Research. Andrea's Update
